You have never truly lived until you’ve seen the stars in the dark of night, until you’ve stopped to smell the roses and feel the air around you surge as you move toward your destiny; feel the choices you’ve made come together like puzzle pieces and form a beautiful array of colors and people that is your life. But there are some people whose colors have faded, and their pale faces rest peacefully with their bodies. The empty shell of what they once were; human, and the remembrance of who they once were. But they lay naught in the box of ashes, not in a coffin, not in the ground. But they have been freed of the pain, of the heartache; they have found some higher existence. They have lived and died, smiled and loved. Now they are gone; they cannot come back.
